How we write
Stitch editorial
Useful guides for people who want to finish the films they already shot.
Who is writing?
Stitch editorial is the product's own byline. It does not mean an outside reviewer tested the app. We write about choosing shots, setting their order, framing, timing and the checks that help you finish a film.
Our aim is to give you a next step you can try with your own footage. We do not pretend that one style fits every trip or that a preset can decide which memory matters most.
How examples work
A worked example starts with clear inputs. We show the maths and state its limits. A file-size estimate is not a measurement of your phone, your network or the speed of an export. An example is not a customer story.
The four tools have repeatable tests for their formulas. A test checks the stated rule. It does not prove that a camera, flight or upload will behave the same way in every case.
What we say about the app
We check the actual product before making a feature claim. A draft is not a finished film until you have reviewed it. An automatic edit is not AI-generated footage. A web page is not a native phone app. A test build is not a public store release.
We do not invent ratings, user counts, reviews or speed claims. When a feature is limited, the guide should make that limit clear. A clean technical audit does not replace a real-device test or watching an export.
Where facts come from
We use the maker's own source for camera settings and current device limits. We link to it where it helps you check the advice. General editing choices are explained as choices, not rules that always apply.
We test links, check page details and look for claims beyond the current product before a guide goes live. We also read the text for clarity. The purpose is to help the reader, not to fill a page with keywords.
Corrections
Each article shows when it was last updated. A material change should update that date and explain the fix where the old advice could mislead. We do not rewrite history to make an old claim look current.
Found a mistake? Use the contact page and include the guide title and the point that needs checking. Please do not send passwords or private footage.
